Dr. Dara Maker

Dara Maker is a busy family physician at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Maker graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto Medical School in 2003 and went on to complete her family medicine residency at the University of Toronto. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Maker took part in the Women’s Health Scholars Program - a one year fellowship in Women’s Health. She also pursued a Master of Health Science with a focus on medical education and gender studies. Dr. Maker has been the Director of Undergraduate Education for Family Practice at Women’s College Hospital since 2006. She also works at the Bay Centre for Birth Control, a popular sexual health clinic in Toronto. Dr. Maker is a lecturer with the University of Toronto and very involved in teaching medical students and residents. When not busy at work, Dr. Maker is kept entertained and on the go as a mother to three children.
