Usually you take an epsom salt bath if you’re suffering from achey muscles, stiff joints, and any overall body pain. Its not really glamorous to get into a hot bath full of thick salt. However, we got the chance to try Dr Teal’s Lavender infused epsom salts, and my mind has changed. I’m always looking to turn my bathroom into a spa (with any small chance I get), and the epsom salts did exactly that. The combination of hot running water mixed with the lavender essential oil infused in the salts created a hazily, floral smelling fog. I nearly feel asleep in my bath. It doesn’t stop there, there are other ways to utilize epsom salts. You could mix them with your shower gel to make a body exfoliant, or even soak a wash cloth in a heavily concentrated solution of the salts and water to create a compress for strained muscles.

You can buy Dr. Teal’s products at Wal-Mart or any other drug store, and one bag costs about $5. So next time your calves are hurting you can easily (and affordably) turn your physical therapy into a spa retreat by simply using some lavender epsom salts.
