Top 5 Must-Haves

 1. Cream

Winter is rough, man. Don’t I know it. I can’t feel my face, and not in the way The Weeknd sings about it. Protect your skin this winter by moisturizing religiously every morning. I am really into the deep moisture that I get from Shiseido Glow Revival Cream. Even if I can’t feel my face, I know I’m at least protected with a moisture barrier to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day.

For your baby
Try using Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Moisturizing Baby Lotion. It’s super gentle because it’s specially formulated for dry and sensitive skin.

2. Lip Balms and Lipsticks
Don’t forget about your lips! Lips need to be nourished and cared for. Keep your lips moist and healthy with a good quality balm like Kiehl’s, which will protect your lips from dryness and harsh winds all winter long.

Lipstick
I love many shades of lipstick. Ditch the overly shiny gloss this season and get into some awesome matte lip shades like Mac Velvet Teddy for a subtle sophisticated look.

3. Moisturizers
Do you want to have amazing hair? Stop using so many products and heating tools. Also, people often feel they need to wash their hair every day or every other day: this is not the case! Train your hair to be less greasy by waiting an extra day to wash it. If your hair is feeling greasy, use a deep conditioning treatment. My absolute favourite is Shu Uemura Moisture Velvet Nourishing Treatment. Use this once a week in the winter months and you won’t have a single strand of brittle or dry hair. You can thank me later.

4. Self Tanner
Number four is pretty much my all-time fave. And why, you ask? Instant glow and instant confidence! Who needs the beach when you have an amazing self tanner? Well actually, that’s a lie. I definitely still need the beach. But let’s face it, I am stuck in sub-zero temperatures for a good portion of the winter, so I might as well not maintain the pasty shade of snow while I’m here. I am obsessed with Biotherm Self Tanner. Wash and exfoliate your skin, pat dry and put a conservative amount in your palms and massage well into skin. What a dream. Two hours later you will look like you just came back from a weekend in South Beach.

5. Bronzing Powders
Since I’ve covered your skin, lips, hair and glow, let’s add a splash of colour to that gorgeous mug. I can’t get enough of MAC Cosmetics, especially for winter! Nudes, brights, darks – it all goes! Bronze up those cheeks with a bit of colour and shimmer by using a product like Mac Refined Golden. It only improves your self-tanning glow. If you skipped the tan, you’re still in luck: bronzing powders provide vibrant skin and cheekbones in a flash!
