Dr. Tal Lewinger is a general dentist and proud owner of Marketplace Dentistry, a full-service family and cosmetic dental practice voted "Best of Vaughan" in 2011 (Gold Award) and 2012 (Bronze Award) by Vaughan Today readers.
In his practice, Dr. Lewinger emphasizes preventative care, taking a long-term holistic and personal wellness approach to family oral health. From BPA- and phthalate-free toothbrushes, fillings and mouthguards to oral cancer screening and all care in between, Dr. Lewinger’s goal is for his patients to have beautiful and healthy smiles. He understands that his patients have different needs at different life stages, and whether it’s an expectant mother, a first baby tooth, a toddler, teen, adult or senior, he promotes patient education, trust, communication and individualized care to help his patients make informed and beneficial choices about their oral health. At Marketplace Dentistry he is pleased to offer a full range of dental treatments and services including all aspects of child and family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, root canal therapy, Invisalign and sedation dentistry.
In designing Marketplace Dentistry, Dr. Lewinger has sought to be an example in the community (as well as to his young daughter and son) as to how a business can choose to make decisions to minimize its ecological footprint, not only in sustainable building, but in operation and design as well. Marketplace Dentistry has been featured in Dental Practice Management magazine for its eco-sustainable design.
Dr. Lewinger obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (with honours) from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. He is a graduate of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi-Course and the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry certification in Moderate Sedation. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian Dental Association/Ontario Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Eco Dentistry Association and Doctors Against Racism and Anti-Semitism.
Dr. Lewinger is a proud dad, a technophile, and an avid traveller who speaks English and Hebrew fluently.
