Adam’s Dream Fund was established in tribute and in loving memory of my brother, Adam Prusznowski. On October 15, 1993, Adam was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – Cancer. He was seven-years-old at the time. We learned to compact a lifetime into ten short weeks – Adam passed away on December 31, 1993.
From a very young age, Adam demonstrated a generousity to those less fortunate than himself. His concern for others intensified during his hospital stay and his greatest wish was to return to the hospital when he was well, “to help the children.”
Adam’s legacy is Adam’s Dream Fund – this was Adam’s Dream . . . go back and help the children. With the enormous support that we have received over the last 15 years, we have been able to keep his dream alive.
This year marks our 16th year of fundraising. From May 3-7, we will be hosting an online auction with some amazing items, such as: Trips to Vegas, Advanced Driver Training, Golf foursomes, Gift baskets, Blue Jay tickets, restaurant gift cards and so much more. We also have a draw with outstanding prizes: Lady’s 14kt white gold diamond bar bracelet (value: $1450) from Fine Jewellery by Colette, Ladies 14kt white gold diamond hoop earrings (value: $1100) from Mark Lash, and other prizes ranging from $200-$800. Draw tickets are 1 for $20 or 3 for $50.
