It’s that time of year! All of my mom groups are counting down the days until it’s back to school! Cue Andy Williams ‘It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year’ and get ready to send these kids back to school! Before that happens, I know what’s on your mind – clothes. Some parents dread this part because it can be an eternal struggle to keep kids loving their clothes, while other parents are super excited! Can you tell which category I fall into? Hehe. Kid approved clothes can be hard to come by. Parents want good quality, versatile and reasonably priced pieces. Kids just want cool stuff. With the brands I’m about to gush about, I promise your kids will be in awe at how cool their parents have become.
This Septembers’ star brand is Butter SuperSoft. Hailing from the wickedly hip Long Island New York, this brand started in 2007 and is the creator of “ The World’s Softest Sweatshirt”. It is a must have. MUST have. One stroke of the material and you’ll believe it (you’ll want to grab one for yourself too!). A huge selection of colours with flashy decals or without, makes this a huge winner for your kids and tweens. Best part, there are pieces that are unisex so the boys can get in on this super comfortable, ‘buttery’ soft line. Awesome look and wear, washes great, and best of all, doesn’t break the bank.
A perfect pairing to Butter SuperSoft is a long sleeve tee from LA based Aviator Nation, or one from celebrity fave, Junk Food. Both have a great vintage feel. Junk Food in particular has a spot on my adore list thanks to their super simple and really trendy sports and superhero shirts. Layer a Butter Supersoft pullover or zip hoodie on top of these, and there won’t be any issues getting the kids out the door feeling great on the first day of school.
One last star line that I can’t get enough of is ‘Tulibert’. This is hands down the most amazing collection of harem pants for boys and girls. Handmade in Israel, the look, cut and fit on these is unbeatable. Right on trend, these pants will carry your boys through fall, winter, spring, and never fear, they have wicked shorts for summer too!
