Owl Prowl

An ornithological expert will lead you and your family through owl habitats. Not only will you get to see the owls up-close, but you will also be taught how to make owl calls.

Enviroranger

Location: The Toronto Zoo

Two Sessions: $95 Member, $115 Non-Member

Do you have a child between the ages of 11 and 14 who loves animals? Has your child always wondered what it would be like to be a zookeeper or a veterinarian? This great program at the Toronto zoo allows your child to learn more about how staff members take care of the animals. On November 14th specifically, kids will learn about caring for invertebrates. Winter Magic: Illuminate

This festival in downtown Toronto combines music, lights and aerial acrobatics to get you and your children excited for the holiday season. There will be a tree lighting ceremony at 6pm. Check out this link for pictures from last year’s event.

The Santa Claus Parade

Location: starts near Christie Pits and ends near the St. Lawrence Market
Cost of Admission: Free

Watch your children’s faces light up as they see  their favourite holiday characters come to life. Make sure to stay until the end of the parade to catch a glimpse of St. Nick!
