The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair

This year’s fair includes a number of great activities, including cooking competitions, horse shows, dog shows and food sampling.
The Stone Princess
Date: select dates from November 7th-November 29th
Location: Solar Stage Children’s Theatre
Admission: $16
An original fairy tale musical in which a rivalry forms between two twin princesses who both want to become queen. Full of magic and stolen identities, this musical is a great event for children four and up.
The Santa Train (York-Durham Heritage Railway)
Date: Saturdays and Sundays starting November 1st
Location: Uxbridge Station
Admission: $20 (infants under one ride for free)
Santa will be riding the York-Durham Heritage Railway Trains on Saturdays and Sundays beginning on November 1st. The train departs from Uxbridge station, and Santa will visit each child at their seat to distribute goodies. The trips are one hour long and have on-board entertainment for both children and adults.
Sprout Club
Date: November 9th-December 7th
Location: Toronto Botanical Gardens
Cost: $60 Member, $70 Non-Member
The Sprout Club provides crafts, songs and activities to help your toddler learn about nature.
Story Time at the Toronto Botanical Gardens
Date: until December 14th
Location: The Weston Family Library
Cost of Admission: Free
Staff at the Toronto Botanical Gardens will sing songs and tell stories about nature.
Family Sundays
Date: November 8th-April 24th
Location: Art Gallery of Ontario in the Weston Family Learning Centre
Cost of Admission: included in admission to the gallery
Head over to the AGO on Sundays between 1-4pm for great activities for the whole family. This November, check out the shadow and light workshop at the gallery. Kids can make shadow puppets and paper cut-outs that will come to life at the exhibit.
