Last year, as part of a school project, a little boy named Nathan took part in a program called Mr. Nobody (http://www.whoisnobody.com/). Mr. Nobody is a doll that came to their class with no face or clothing.
The goal is to turn Mr. Nobody into a Somebody. Each student had to take Mr. Nobody home and take on a personal project involving helping animals, people or doing something good for the environment.
Nathan wanted to help the homeless by giving them a duffel bag full of cold weather gear and some basic daily necessities. They put together 15 bags and delivered them throughout the city. Mr. Nobody now had warm socks to wear.
Green Planet would like to continue to help people stay warm this winter. Help them reach their goal to hand out 50 Bags this year.
They are looking for help in collecting all NEW:
Socks
Long underwear
Hats
Gloves
Snacks
Baby wipes
Sweaters
Toothbrushes/toothpaste
Kleenex
Water bottles
And anything you think may help the homeless.
