What could be fancier than Christmas? Presents with elegant wrapping paper, festive decorations, Christmas cookies with sprinkles – and who could forget the tree? After all, there is no such thing as too much tinsel. Ooh la la!
I had a chance to see FANCY NANCY: SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS THE MUSICAL with my two daughters today and the kids have never been so excited! They dressed up in their glitzy tops and got to sit in the front row. They thought it was so cool to interact with the cast and had a blast! Afterwards, we bought some fancy cookies that were delish and my daughter bought a beautiful gold star wand that sparkles!
This year, Nancy is especially excited. After selling some of her old gowns and accessories, Nancy has enough money to buy a brand-new sparkly tree topper. She can’t wait to decorate the Christmas tree. But when things don’t turn out the way Nancy planned, will Christmas still be splendiferous? FANCY NANCY: SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS THE MUSICAL is based on the New York Times bestselling picture book by Jane O’Connor and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser, with book by Cara Lustik, lyrics by Matthew Hardy, music by Randy Klein.

BIG NATE
Nate Wright is a detention-riddled sixth grader who also happens to be the drummer for the greatest garage band in the history of the galaxy – Enslave the Mollusk! Problem is, beautiful Jenny fails to see his worth. If only he could woo her away from her boyfriend, Artur… If only Enslave the Mollusk can up their game and win their school’s Battle of the Bands… If only – “Oh, no!” – Nate’s arch-rival, Gina hadn’t formed a band of her own! Inspired by the hit comic strip and book series by Lincon Peirce, this rollicking musical rocks and rolls from page to stage. Amp up the volume. Let Nate rule the house.
