For You:
- • DEPENDS – get these instead of Pads FOR SURE! (if not get-Kotex without dry weave, with wings)
• Hair brush
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant
• Face soap
• Pillow (coloured case so you can tell the difference between yours and hospital)
• Nipple Cream-Jack newman (need prescription)
• Nursing bra (not underwire)
• Pajamas
• Flip flops/shower shoes
• Slippers
• Extra socks
• Phone number list to make birth announcements- you will want this so that your partner can do the calling/emailing for you.
• Cord blood registration info if applicable
• Granny Pants (if you are going to go with pads)
• Comfy clothes to come home in
• Lip balm
• Hair elastics/clips
• Camera – phone maybe?
• Phone charger
• Hospital card
• Health Card
• Ipod dock (battery operated) for delivery- they won’t let you plug anything in
• Pen
• Snacks – have someone bring later
For Baby:
- • Going home outfit x2 (just incase of an accident)
• Diapers
• Wipes- unscented
• Pacifier
• Car seat, head huggers, shoulder strap covers
• Swaddle blanket
• Burp cloths
• Hat (they will give you one but after the 1st bath at the hospital you will want a nice clean one)
