Instructions
1. Prepare your work station. You will be working with permanent marker and children. Have everything ready and on hand. Tape down some newspaper. A quick internet search showed that the following can be used to remove permanent marker from skin: hand sanitizer, sun screen, baby wipes.
2. Wash mug very well with dish soap and water. When dry, wipe generously with vinegar to remove any grime and residue. Let dry. This takes just a few minutes.
3. Place stickers on your mug.
4. Let your little one have a great time drawing all over the mug, concentrating on drawing over the stickers. Once your little one is done just made sure that immediate around the stickers are filled in otherwise you don’t have clean defines lines when you remove the stickers.
5. Once you are happy with the design, remove stickers and set aside mugs to dry for 24 hours.
6. Place mugs right side up on a baking sheet and put in a cold oven. Make sure they have enough room above to not be touching elements, you may have to lower or remove a shelf. Close oven door and turn to 350 and bake for 25 minutes. Lighter colours may darken while baking.
7. Turn oven off and leave mugs in the oven until completely cool.
8. Remove mugs and use or wrap for gifts. Mugs are recommended to be hand washed.
